Email File Splitter

Paste or upload a list of emails (up to millions of lines), choose how to split, and download clean smaller files.

About Email File Splitter

The Email List Splitter breaks a very large list of email addresses into several smaller files of equal size. This is a common need when you import a customer list into a newsletter service, CRM or email marketing platform that limits how many rows you can upload at once.

Reading, cleaning and splitting all happen inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so you can process lists with millions of lines quickly and privately.

How to use

  1. Drag and drop one or more .txt or .csv files into the source area, or paste your email list directly.
  2. Review the overview: total lines, valid emails and duplicates that were removed.
  3. Choose how to split: by the number of emails per file or by the total number of files you want.
  4. Click "Download all (ZIP)" to get every file in one archive, or download individual files from the list.

Key features

Frequently asked questions

Is my email data uploaded to a server?

No. Files are read and split entirely on your device. When you close the page, the data is gone.

How many emails should each file contain?

It depends on the software you import into. Many newsletter platforms accept 5,000 to 50,000 rows per import, so check that platform’s documentation.

Does the tool check whether an inbox is active?

It only checks syntax and never sends test messages. To see which addresses are correctly formatted, use the Email Validator as well.

Can I use this tool to send unsolicited bulk email?

Please don’t. Only email people who have agreed to hear from you, and follow the anti-spam laws where you operate.
